Nike new diet

The Vet change Nike Diet to can food……..we have to restart everything again…..very stress. Since now Nike & Fila eat different food, me and my sis need to watch them eat their meal as they tent to preferred each other meal rather than their own meal….
As what I always say 别人的一定比自己的好even dogs feel the same. Sigh I really got nothing to say liao.
Nike is going to have his urine and blood test this Saturday. I hope the vet can let us mix the wet & dry food got him. It seems that Nike prefer the dry food. He gets hungry easily when eat the wet food. We are having a hard time with 2 picky dogs at home……

Today is the last day of year 2008 and I am still in office working.
Its has been a long time since I need to work on New Year eve as usually we will have company shutdown or I will shut myself down from work.
My current company do not has such practice as company shutdown and I also dun have much leave since I just join this company for only 4 month. (Need to save up my leave for holiday next year mah)
Anyway at such an economy down turn, having no shutdown is what I call a blessing. This means that our company is still doing well. That is why I keep on reminding myself to be glad that I still have a job :)
Looking back at 2008, nothing much had change except that I have changed a new job. The only bad thing that happens is that Nike had to go through the operation to remove the bladder stone. There is a long way to go since we still need to monitor him for the rest of his life as there is a chance that it will happen again. The tough part is to educate my iron teeth father on feeding him with table scrap.......sigh.........

Let us hope that 2009 will be a better year for all.

Its has been 2 month since my last post. :) Since starting my new job, everyday is getting more and more busy! Anyway bust is better than nothing to do lah. I can't login to my facebook from office and had no time to update my blog at all.... Once at home i got to entertain my 2 darling and dun feel like updating my blog at all. Therefore as you can see......MIA for 2 months :)

Anyway, other than busy with work, nothing much happen except that last month Nike need to go through an operation to remove bladder stone....my stress lever really shoot up man!

We start to monitor him when we notice he started to pee more in a day. (Usually he only pee once a day) Then on that Sunday Morning, Nike wants me to follow him to the kitchen. I follow as I think he may want to eat some snack. However, he bring me to his pee area and started to pee. I notice that he had difficulty in peeing. He tooks a long time to pee than usual. He is a smart dog.....he knows he is unwell and wanted us to know. During his usual market walk in the morning, then we notice that he did not pee in a smooth stream but drop by drop. That is not small matter as there might be stone in his bladder. We hope that we are wrong. A fast trip to the Vet confirmed our guess. There is no choice but to operate to remove otherwise he will die. Appointment was made to operate on Tuesday.

My sis bring Nike to the Vet on Tuesday morning. An X-ray was done to confirm the location of the stone and the operation in the afternoon. Nike can't come home that night.....it was the worst night for me and my sis. Can't sleep well that night. A call the next day confirm that we can bring him home anytime so I took 1/2 a day off to fetch him with my yonger sis. We are sooooooo happy to see him :)

He is recovering well now. However there is still some issue after the op. From now on Nike must follow the diet given by the Vet. No other food is allow. The stone may come back is we do not follow the diet. Nike have been eating cooked food all these while and my parents given them milk and cheese everynight. This is the worst part since the op. The tought part is to re-introduce dry food to the dogs and educate my parents to follow the diet. Especially my iron teeth dad. Si Bei Jia Lart. We have to stop all cook food and treat for both Nike and Fila. Must be fair so Fila also must follow as per Nike's diet. We get another dry food for Fila since he can't eat those prescribe by the Vet. These 2 also one kind one....they wan to eat each other food but not their own food. Me and my sis really had a hard time to get time eat.

My sis most cham one.....as my parents blame her for not letting them drink milk this and that. Seems to them she is the bad guy. Sigh.....and the best is yesterday she caught my dad give them cooked food. My sis really very angry man. I oso disappointed with my dad. He really very iron teeth and dun listen to us. I really dun want anything to happen to Nike again as I dun think he can go through another operation in a fews year time.....

I really dunno what to do with my dad sigh......

Its has been a long time since I last update…….got miss me bo?? Hehehehe anyway not many people read my blog lah. Almost 2 month has pass since I started my new job. I have since settle down liao. I am glad I have made the right decision to switch job at this time.
Later after work, going to meet with my shinny sister for free dinner. When there is any free dinner, we the shinny sister will be there!! Before the dinner we will sing at Martin KTV….oso FOC one….hehehe

First of all thank you all my friends for encouraging me in my blog, facebook and msn. I have been adding oil all this while. :)

The first week is really very depressing as there is no one whom I can talk to. All my good friends & colleagues I known for years is not with me. The difficult part is to trying to remember all the names of the new company. Tough!!

I was sick on my 2nd week and was on MC on the 7th day at work......very depress.......

This is the 3rd week into my new job. Work is going smoothly and oso getting along fine with new colleagues. It takes time to build up good relationship so I will work towards it and add oil.

The working enviroment is good with very define job scope.....much better than my ex.......thats sure one lah. Its not easy to find another company which is as luan as my ex one.......

Came back from holiday, slag here slag there....no time to update my blog.....now its time to start my new job.
Today is my first day in my new job. Very boring.....nobody is free to teach me. Hope there is some progress tomolo as I am given a new project and some task.

I worked 8 years each for my 1st job and this company (2nd) and hope that I can get along well with the collegues in my new company and work there for another 8 years :)

Yesterday went to Samy curry at Dempsey Road. Business quite good surrounding oso very good. You can't see a single HDB flat......very green which i like it very much.
Food is ok lah....nothing special except that they use banana leaf to serve. But hor...the price really kill people put fire!! 9 of us eat total $205....which means each is $22.777777....very expensive for a Indian cuisine.
Anyway I m not the one paying so I dun mind go there eat.

Today Ah Tin going to treat us asam fish head from our canteen. Very hungry now.
Tomorrow still got a free lunch......then last day!!!

Next is Maldives!!!!

Shinny sister's Last Day

Today is my Shinny Sister last day and my last day is on 7 Aug. GT treat us to Pow Sing Restaurant at Serangoon Garden Way. I trully enjoy the food!!

After lunch, my fellow colleague give us our farewell gift. Lynn got a beautiful Necklace and mine is a pair of earring. I love it!!

I feel that today is also my last day......hehehe......I still got 2 weeks to go lah.....

After our Maldives trip, we the shinning 3 sisters will all go different way liao. Me and my Deer Xiang Gong will start work on the 18 Aug at the new company while Da Ping Lynn will also start work in early Aug......

My Xiang Gong and my new company is quite near so we can still meet up for lunch :) As for Da Bing Lynn...she will be a bit far away from us.....cant meet for lunch but we can still meet up on the weekends or plan for another holiday together next year.

Recently office really very ENG leh.....business really bad.....
Although its not of my concern much longer....but I need at least some project going on so that I can teach the rich auntie who us taking over my duty mah.....bo leh.....

Still got 4 more weeks to go.......Must pass on as much information as possible........

I have a mix feeling about going to work in a new company as I have been in ZV for 8years liao....I really love the people in this company. I guess that's is the only reason that I stay for so long. Not many people can take this ever changing environment like some of us. I have not seen the organisation chart in my 8 years of services as the management loves to change every year. Getting sick of it liao......

Off cos there are many uncertainties with the new company, I'll take the chance since I am not young anymore. Hope I will like the new company.

We got these 2 very funny float fwe got from AIA a few years back. We only used it once when we went to Krabi a fews back.......
Never had a chance to use in Singapore as we cannot bring them to the public swimming pool.
There is this Chicken&Cow float and Johnny Bravo float.

Yesterday took out to check on them before bring to Maldives.....
First we pumb up the Chicken&Cow float and discover that there is a leakage the same goes for the Johnny Bravo float..... We took some tape to seal the leakage area and try to pumb up again as we trutly love to bring them to Maldives.

The Chicken&Cow looks ok at first but air still leak out after some times.....so sad.....

Everythings seems fine for the Johnny Bravo at first.......so I pumb and pumb and pumb until very song.......then the Johnny Bravo's head stand up.....and I continue to pumb and pumb and pumb until very happily.....and then suddenly the Johnny Bravo explode!!!

Buay ta han man........I really can't take it.....we laugh until tears some out........

Made my decision to tender my resignation today. Feel like changing environment so start to look for job a few months back. At last found 1 which suit me.....hope so :P
I guess its time for me to move on since i not young liao. If I dun go not, I most properly will kana stuck here until retire.....which is wat I do not want.
Off cos there are unsure and uncertainties ahead but I guess I'll take the challenge and move on.
Its better than sitting here do nothing and regret later.

Healthy Sushi Making Workshop

Today I attend a "Healthy Sushi Making Workshop" organised by our company RC Committee.

Its is very fun. After the workshop, I can skip my lunch liao...

Ingredients consist of Sushi rice, nori sheet, carrot stick, cucumber stick, tuna, crab stick and cheese. Offcouse there is also the wasabei and soya sauce.

Well my first roll was very ugly. The second one looks much better. Maybe I'll try this at home :)

Here comes another round of big wind blow......After quiet down for a month or so.....people starts to move again....The current list is 3 to go....and I guess the list will grow longer.

My beloved Xiang Gong is one of them....he tender his resignation last week after much consideration. I know that he is quite unhappy with his work for sometimes liao so I guess he will tender sooner or later. Anyway I fully support his decision. He is always welcome to come to me if he run out of money to buy food. I got plenty of grass in front of my house. :)

Aerobics Kickboxing

My first session of kickboxing ended with lot of sweat and body aching....It is much more tiring than step aerobics which I quite enjoy. I guess I also old liao lah.....long time din move my muscle liao.
The instructor kicking and boxing style is very cool.....but ours all looks funny. I think my kicking looks like dogs peeing....very ugly....sigh....
Although its very tough...but I really enjoy the workout. After kickboxing, we will continue with the regular aerobic. All these thanks to our generous and careing company. :)
Very look forward to next week session.

Yesterday is Xiao Wan Zhou's last day. Very sad......So now I got no partner to work with......
The boss employ 2 PRC meimei to help us on daily admin work.........His reason is that he will not have to worried about someone resigning for the next 2 years as the PRC is on a 2 yrs contract.
BUT.....still got us 4 buyer to resign mah. I really dunno what he is thinking....
Shouldn't he be reviewing why is people leaving??
Just because he tired of people resigning, he go get 2 PRC for 2 yrs.

Dunno he is trying to add or reduce our work load......We are having a hard time training them as they have no computer knowledge and hardly speck English. Boss say will send them to English class then after that will send them to computer class.....then what?? After attending this class then that class.....2 years is up liao mah.......sigh....

Just called the modem service center......the answer is if DSL light is off.....most preoberly modem is faulty.

Sony's Talkman for the PSP

I bought a Talkman for my Sony PSP which comes with a add on mic. It is suppose to be able to translate to understand Chinese, English, Japanese, and Korean. There is this blue bird call Max who act as a translator. We need to set one of the language as our mother tongue and use the PSP custom microphone to pose a question. Max will understand and translate it into the language you desire! However, I still cant get him to understand me leh...... It also comes with many preset situations for me to choose from. For example in a hotel, shopping, dining, at the airport, makes friends, etc. Max can help.

I hope I will be able to learn some useful phrases for my coming Japan tour....in September....

Farewell Aunty Lan...

Today marks the 7th 7 days of my aunty's death. After her shocking death, we suddendly realised that we may part each other anytime anywhere as life is full of uncertainties. Our family are much closer now after a few gathering. Its very sad that it takes 1 live to make us understand the important of family. However I am very thankful that we are still given a chance to get to know each other.....through this few mahjong and labee session...:P
At least the relationship between my father and his younger sister (my aunty Lee) is getting much better. They have not been talking for years.....although the condition did improved a very little bit after my aunty Lee take the initiative to invite my mum and dad to used the "electric chair" (cost around $10k) which she had bought. Its some kind of sitting cushion which send electrical pulse to simulate the blood circulation. Now they are like finger licking good. I guess both of them realaised that thay have to cherish each other. :)
Well after saying good bye to aunty Lan, I guess its time for us to move on. Lets treasure whatever we have now.

I have not had any headache since 20 Dec as I was happily rotting at home. Do nothing, staring at the ceiling, cuddling Nike/Fila, sleeping and day dreaming. That is what I call happiness :) Talking about daydreaming, it has been quite a while since I have the time to day dream. I guess that is why I had headache......no time to day dream mah so headache lor.
I really dread the coming Monday cos need to go back work liao. I have been having headache every Monday to Friday since WTF & LBB resigned. The headache starts the moment I alight the bus in the morning and end the minute I step out of the office in the evening. For the pass 4 month, it was hell in the office. The work load keep on increasing and the pay is miserable. When you dread going to work, its time to look for a new one. The good news is my bond with the company is over. So........so lor.....

Our FIRST Christmas Celebration!

Our first ever Christmas Eve Celebration started on 25th Dec 2pm and ended on 25th Dec 6am. Wow what a day!! We have Mahjong, cards game, PSP, PS3, pedicure, photo taking & printing session. Everyone really enjoy themselves. Its is good to have a gathering once a while. Although we are very tired, we are very happy. I guess next year we will have more of these gathering.

During my aunty's funeral, I came to relaised that I actually know very little of my cousins. I always though that my WL cousins is a very proud girl. It turn out that she is actually the opposite and a bit of kan jong queen pattern. Since we only meet up once every CNY, I dun really know their real character. Actually they also dun know the real me. hehehe. I am glad that we still have this chance to get to know each other better :)

My Family's First Christmas Tree!

My sis bought this from Giant just for our Christmas Eve gathering. She paid for $4.90. However the next day it only cost $3.65. hehehe too bad lor. Anyway it is still very cheap. Its actually around 30cm tall and it is quite light and unstable. I looks better after I add in some stone at the base and some small ornament to stabilise and beautify it. With this Christmas tree and some gift we bought for our younger cousins, we are ready for our very first Christmas Celebration. :)

Midnight Shopping!!

Last night went midnight shopping at J8. We shop from 8plus until midnight. Actually most of the time we spent is queueing for redemption & lucky dip. There are quite a few different queue for different kind of redemption. From the queue, you came to see the ugly side of people. There are people who wants to queue for anything free. There is this irritating woman queueing behind me talking to her friends about what she have redeem, what are the other things to redeem and keeps calling her friends to bring all the receipts after they have redeem from some other queue. She almost drive me crazy man. Well its seems that you can only redeem one promotion per receipt. Therefore after queue for half an hour behind me, all she can redeem is the free wrapper. The best part is she even requested for more wrapper while she can only redeem 2 wrapper....hahaha she was rejected off cos...hahahaha
Anyway I do enjoy the shopping although I did not buy much. I enjoy the holiday shopping mood. While waiting for my ta jie to queue up for the 2nd round, me and my younger sis came across this push cart selling some very cute gift. Too bad we already bought what is needed so we intended to walk away. Suddenly there is this cute di di jump out from behind the push cart with these 2 supper cute Santa's hat on his head. hahaha super cute man. It turn out that this is actually hair clip. Too cute to resist man. We end up buying 4 of this hair clip. We plan to wear it on our Christmas Eve party. hehehe

Between Life & Death

I remember someone ever ask me this question. "What is the different between life & death?" Answer = Breathing
It is very true. Once your body stop breathing, you are gone. This is life.
My elder aunty passed away last month. As it was very sudden, most of us can't take it. My father is very sad. After she is gone, we came to realised that through out all these years, we only contact her during the CNY & QingMing. We used to be closed with our cousin and her when we are younger. When we get older and everyone (aunt, uncle & us) are busy with their family & work, other then special occation, we do not meet up.
While thinking that we will meet again during next CNY, it is a big shock that she is unable to meet us anymore.
The week after her funeral my dad suggest to visit my cousin and uncle to check out how their doing. It turn out to be a small gathering of mahjong and cards game. My cousin are very happy that day as they have been playing cards game for the whole week to spent time with their father. With my parents and us joining in the games we spent a very enjoyable time together since her death.
After that we made a date to meet up the next week at our house. This time round we jeo all the uncle and auntie to join in the gathering. We have rounds of cards & mahjong. For the young one we have board games, PSP, X-box, PS3...etc Everyone really enjoy this gathering.
Seems like my 2 younger auntie really love the gathering and she is suggesting to have a Christmas eve gathering. So we are now in the process to organise the gathering.
I have come to realise that although everyone need to work, need times for themself, need times to do whatever.....however, no matter how busy you are, we still need to set aside some times to spent we our love one.

These 2 weeks my house very windy, in fact it is bery bery windy. Now I am sitting facing the window while updating my blog. Wah lao!! Blow until I tao hong liao! Although windy is cooling but bery bery windy is quite scary. My mum was also facing some trouble with the wind. Due to the wind, she had to tie knot at one end of the bamboo after she air out the cloths. Otherwise the bamboo will be blow out of their respective slot. That is very dangerous.
Yesterday while handing out the bed sheet, 2 bamboos with bed sheets was blown away before she can tie the knot to it. One was blow down to the 26th floor services balcony (I stay on the top floor - 28). The other one flew to the roof top. Steady hor. Lucky the town council was just nearby. Initially the people there did not believe her until she told them she will not hold any responsibility if by any chance the bamboo was to blow away from the roof top and hit somebody on the ground. Then they get a guy to help to retrieve the bamboo. Heng no one was hurt.

Today I receive my result for the health screen done 3 weeks ago. The result ---- I got 3 high.
No. 1 High – High Blood Pressure
Dunno why the BP taken on that health screening day is so high leh. Last week my BP was normal when I my family doctor did the BP check. Anyway I will check with my family doctor again.
No. 2 High – High BMI
Hehehe. My result is always overweight one so no surprise for this.
No. 3 High – High Cholesterol
Last year my Cholesterol is normal. Guess I need to pay more attention to what I eat and exercise more.

Long time din update my blog liao. Very busy and tired until lazy to update. At first we have 2 mfg subsidiaries (A and B) with one of them doing 2 products. Then they wanted to combine the resource to increase the productivity and buying power. They then set up another CM company to do the procurement and production. That means after receiving PO from customer, A and B will have to issue PO to C. C will then issue PO to purchase parts for production. All these issuing PO & DO through these 3 companies are done by the same admin group. Really make no sense right? The admin, Logistic, purchasing and accounting are actually doing not double but triple job just to get through an order. Then still can ask our manager why need so many admin girl? Got so much paper work meh??

Our current flow is customer issue PO to A, A login order then issue PO to B. b login order then issue PO to C. C will issue PO to purchase and do production. After finish, C will deliver & bill to B. B then deliver & bill to A. A then deliver & bill to customer. Good hor? Earn what?? we at company C only earn BO ENG only lor. Dunno why must do until so complicated. Do until we going crazy liao. Have to lo in & out of different system just to go through the whole process.

Although out manager did bring up this issue to the top management, nothing change. Until we brought up this issue to the top most management during a meeting group with him. Finally he He finally decided to open his eyes and ear to look into the current situation. After a few round of meeting, they have finally agrees that our current process which we have been doing for the pass 2 years is not workable. They will change our organization again starting next year.
Lets wait and see what will happen lah hor......

Brought this Photo Printer from Sony. It is very easy to use and also not expensive. The best parts is that the ink cartridge & paper is quite cheap compare to my existing HP ink jet printer. The print pack which comes with 120 sheets and 3 cartridges cost only $36. That means each 4R photo cost only $0.30.

There is also no need to worry about running out of ink first before paper and vice versa. The ink ribbons included with each Print Pack match the amount of print paper. Each ink ribbons are able to print 40 sheets. The paper comes in a pack of 20 sheets for easy loading into the printer. Very convenient. I was told that this ink ribbon is designed to avoid clogging. Dunno its true or not lah....need to monitor. The prints is also waterproof and fingerprint-proof. Not sure how long it will last but anyway the quality is very good.

2nd Yoga Lesson

Today my 2nd Yoga lesson.....This will be my 3rd try at yoga. The first time I stop at intermediate. The 2nd time I just complete the basic lesson. This new session is paid by our company. Actually my company not bad lah....now they promoting healthy lifestyle. So our RC group got organise all kind of activity. Later on will have stress release talk, health screening and other keep fit program.
After the chair posture, my leg almost give way. Its like sitting on an invisible chair....very siong ah. Still got the frog style, need to jump like a frog somemore. Nearly kill me. Overall its quite fun lah.

Today is the holiday in lieu for Hari Raya......went shopping with my mum in the early afternoon at AMK hub (she bought 3 blouses) after that I sleep until almost rot. Anyway rot is better than work until stress.
Sigh...actually these 2 weeks I very stress & sad leh. Stress due to the work lor need to chase after supplier/vendor to bring in the parts as fast as possible all because of the production guys delay the release of production order for us to purchase. Now we gota chase like hell & meeting every morning at 9:30pm to update the status. So stress & frustrated.
Why sad leh.....its because my beloved xiang gong had tender his resignation and my darling Bing Bing also get her resignation ready liao. She is only waiting for the right time to tender. Almost all my buddy in the office gone liao........
Is it time for me to go too? Guess I need to look for some job that is somewhere in AMK & 5 days work...:)

Changi Beach

Went to Changi Beach last Sunday with my family. Its been quite some time since our last outing so very happy :) Initially wanted to book a pit to BBQ but seem that all booking for Changi Beach have been suspense due to coming upgrading to the pit. So no choice just went for a beach outing. Anyway where ever and what ever the outing is, as long as its with my family I will be very happy and will enjoy it :)
Nike is really afraid of the sea. He dun dare to go near the water at all. We have to carry him into the water. Guess this is because my dad throw him into the sea when he was younger. Anyway the sea is consider too rough for smaller dog lah. A small wave to us is actually a huge wave to them. So I dun really blame him for afraid of the sea. But sea water is good for our skin therefore once a while we will bring them to dip in the sea water. I also need to dip mah as I got sensitive skin.
Fila on the other hand is quite encouraging. (we learn from Nike's lesson so we dun let my dad do the same thing) He dare to step into the water as long as his head is above the water and his leg touch the ground.......actually to us is consider very very shallow. hehehe But he did enjoy running in and out of the water along the beach.
Overall its a very enjoying day for us :)

Another farewell...

Another farewell lunch yesterday. Although I really enjoy the food, I feel sad to say goodbye. We went to this Hansang Korean Family Restaurant at Square 2. It was my first time eating at a Korea restaurant in Singapore. I usually visit Japanese restaurant. It serve Bibimbap, Kimchi soups, beef ribs soups, pancakes, many assorted side dishes as well as Korean BBQ. The food is ok but the price is on the high side. A set lunch for 2 range from S$55 to S$85. The Ginseng Chicken is so-so but I love the side dishes and the dolsotbob rice. It was delicious :P

Although I quite enjoy the food, I guess they should improve their service level.

They dun let you change the drink for the set lunch (usually coffee/tea) even you offer to top up the different. This is the first restaurant I came across which is so in-flexible. They serve the coffee/tea together with everything in the set meal which by the time u finish your meal, it become ice coffee/tea.

Anyway goodbye & good luck BIG beauty of our company! I'll miss u :)

No more Plastics Bags?

Our usually trip to the NTUC always ended up with around 20pcs of plastic bags. Many hor.... However my recent 2 trip ended up without a single plastic bag. I am very proud and happy of myself :) NTUC will give $0.10 rebate for a receipt with $10 or more. We usually spent more than $100 per trip therefore the rebate is as good as nothing. Anyway we decided to do our part to help the earth as we have shopping bags of all different shape & sizes (mostly free gift) collecting dust in our store room.
After observing what we have done, my mum bring up her view. "Can you at least bring back a few plastic bags next time?" she ask. "If every time no plastic bags than one day we will run out of plastic bags for our rubbish bin." Oh yeah hor....she does have a point. hehehe I guess we can reduce the usage but we still can't totally eliminate the usage.

Today while shopping at Suntec, I came across this pushcart selling some kind of nail art kit. Actually I saw these before but did not have time to check it out. I ever tried Nail Art Sticker before. It is very easy and simple to apply onto my nail. All I need to do is paste it onto my nail and apply a layer of top coat. With so many design to choose from, it is also not expensive.

Since we are not in a rush today, I spent sometime checking out the store. After checking with the sales, I find it very interesting and its not so difficult. So in the end, I bought a set of Stamping Nail Art. It consist of 3 Small Special Polishes - 5ml (Any colour), 2Image Plates (Can choose from 54 design), 1Scraper and 1Stamp.

The step are quite simple however it does need some practice and some artistic touch to do a really nice nail art. My first try looks.......sigh...dunno what to say. Guess I will need to practice more.

My current work which I have taken over from WTF (resigned) include handling the purchase of warranty parts. The service guy will request what ever parts required and I will do the purchase. Sound easy hor......
However the following up is time & energy consuming. Due to urgency, the services guys tends to take/borrow parts from existing machine or from our suppliers. Then we have to purchase and return to them. The whole inventory is in a mess.
This is the 3rd weeks of Sep liao. They are suppose to start the service module of the SAP since 1 Sep. Till now I still dun see anything from the service module and we have to followup with the manual paper work. That service manager promise to follow up with the SAP but have not see anything from him except the continues request for parts. You think you are the oni one who is busy meh??
Then that mosquito is the best. Ask him to press them to starts the service module and he go allow them to take the parts first then followup with the SAP. See lor....until now still nothing been done.
So tired!!

My Pink PSP!!

Yesterday went with my sis to this game shop at AMK Hub. She is looking for some PSP game. As it was not so crowded, the boss introduce some PSP skin to my sis. All the skin very cheo. Got hello kitty, spider man, some animation charaters, etc. All looks cheo & tempting. He show us his sample PSP which he do up with one of a cute skin and comes with a matching wallpaper. Wow! Cool man!! I saw this very very cute skin....the theme is Disney Baby, I love it! Then the boss says this skin match very well with the pink colour PSP. I decided to buy the pink PSP. It cost S$290 for the bacis set. (just the PSP & battery) Anyway I dun need the other stuff as my sis already got it. So the boss help to do up the skin & download the matching wallpaper. Ta da!! I love it :) Actually I am still not sure what to do with it but will let my jie play her Naruto first. Later than see how lor.

Thanks WM for adding oil for me :) I will try by best to add oil. Anyway Yesterday is WTF's last day so from Monday onwards I'll do what I can lah. Today I just revise my resume. It has been 7 years since last update my resume. Actually this is only my 2nd revision. hehehe. I got my first job through walk in interview, so resume written. My first resume was written 7 years ago when looking for my 2nd (Current) job. So....am I a loyal person? I dun think so. I always like to complain about my company. Complain about the work, the pay, the leave, my colleague, the benefit and mostly complain about the management. So why do I still stay in a company for so long? hehehe Guess the reason is that I am lazy to change my environment. Everything have to start all over again. Getting to know people better before I can act myself. Have to observe the surrounding and search for those with the same frequency as me. If I can't find them then I will have to tune my frequency to suit others. All these are very tiring.
So althought I have update my resume and flip the newspaper, guess I will stay until the end of my bond (end Nov) and see how lah. I will add oil!

Stress Stress Out!

More and more works to do. As WTF's last day is approaching, everybody is getting stress out. WTF would like to be release 2 days earlier as she need to settle some personal matter but mosquito do not approve so she is very stress out. Mosquito early release LBB by 3 weeks but now dun dare to early release WTF. I think is really unfair. He also very stress out as he is afraid than I dun have enough time to absorb from WTF. Bitchy very TL mosquito due to dumping of workload to her, she also stress out. Miss Panda got 5 new systems to run using SAP, she also stress out. Our China auntie need to work alone on the project which usually done by me and her, and also need to teach miss MC queen. She also stress out. I also taking over the system, spare, tooling, warranty, etc handle by WTF & LBB and guide the new guy GN. I also very stress!!

Whole SCM stress out. I wonder how long can we tahan until our breakdown point. Luckily for me I got 2 de-stress darling at home waiting for me everyday. Everyday when I reach home, their will be waiting at the door with their tail wagging. Once I look at them, all the unsolved issue from work and my stress disappear. It seem that cleaning the pee & poo of my darling bring my stress level down. I wonder how the others de-stress......

This week very stress ah!! Trying to absorb as much thing as possible from WTF who last day is next Friday. However the process work flow for their section is like an elephant shit! No system at all and make a big mess with the inventory in the SAP system in just 3 month. Now, the bitch and me are the one going to clear the mess. Dunno what the management are thinking. Buying such an expensive software but never look into the work flow. Don't they suppose to know that without proper process flow, no matter how fantastic the software is they outcome is still shit! Garbage in garbage out....as simple as that.
Just know while trying to clear some work, that mosquitoes called to ask why WTF wanted to leave 2 days early..i.e Wednesday instead of Friday. He started to panic and as me if she tell me why suddenly want to leave early. How should I know?? Waht to leave early leave lah. Anyway she already cleared most of her things and passed most of her knowledge to me liao. So 2 days don't make any different lah. Maybe she need to rest before her new job.
Anyway can do what do lor. If anything dun know aask lor, if nobody know than all die together lor. No big deal.

Wanted to upload the video I took on 18 Aug 2007 during the Singapore Fireworks Celebrations 2007. But I give up after a few try. Instead this is the video of Fila chasing after the 3M lint roller. I always use this to roll off their fur from my bed & cloths after I brush them. Fila likes to chase after it but Nike hates it.

Been quite busy last weekend. Saturday we went for the Singapore Fireworks Celebrations 2007 at the Marina Bay viewing gallery. We went Esplanade at 2plus and park our car near the exit. (Good choice cause we were not caught in the traffic jam) Had both our lunch & dinner at the Esplanade. The firework was fantastic however the organising is below average. There is only a big screen showing the performance on the center stage. The big screen is just behind the stage. For us who was siting at the extreme sides, we can't see a thing. Dun understand what the organiser is thinking...budget constrain?

Anyway the firework itself is good. This is my first time watching a firework this close up and I love it. My parents are very happy.

Today I took a day off from work. Its my birthday! So I am now officially a middle age woman. :)

The Bourne Ultimatum...In cinemas August 16.

Since today is my birthday, I went to catch this movie with my sisters in the afternoon. $7 per tickets...thats consider cheap cos weekend cost $9.50. Last time during police wear short era, a movie tickets only cost $3.50, $4.30 for circus seats. Times really fly.

If you have watch Bourne Identity & Bourne Supremacy, don't miss this one. For those who have not watch either one of them, go rent/buy the first 2 vcd/dvd and watch this movie.

My favorite character other than Jason Bourne is Pamela Landy (played by Joan Allen). She is cool. The plot is wow! The fight and chase scenes are incredible! (cars, motorbikes, on foot - all as brilliant as each other). There is one scene where Bourne meet up with the investigative journalist in London's Waterloo Station, you can't affort to take your eyes off the screen. And thats is in the first 15 minutes of the movie. You'll barely get your breath back during what follows either.

Anyway, this is a MUST WATCH movie of the year. I'll give it 5 stars!

Take over job responsibllity

Today start to take over job responsibllity from WTF. Luckly I still got 1 month to learn from her. At lease not so stress out. We starts from 9plus today. At 10am, I go for tea break. At 12noon she go for lunch break. At 2pm I go for lunch break. hehehe. I seem that I only got ard 4 hours a day to learn from. Of the 4 hours, we also need to attend meeting with our project group or supplier. So actually there is also not much time left.

The dog, already a celebrity in Chongqing city, is called Huahua by local people.
She gave birth to four pups at Shanhuba, which has become an island in the Changjiang River due to the heavy rains this summer.
Huahua swims 1.2 km to the island every day to nurse her four babies. Then she returns to the Changjiang River, following the flow of the water, to swim another 1.1 km to another part of the city to feed herself.

Sigh.....the TOP MANAGEMENT had made the decision to throw the project which she handle to me. So good hor I really enjoy cleaning up the shit. The best part is the potato think that I will not leave the company one. Well he is correct! I am very loyal one!! I will stay!!.......for now lah :)
This morning realise that I got 1 missed called from mosquito last night. I think he want to inform me of the bad news.....I already know liao. Anyway I dun want to spoilt my weekend mood. From now on I am not going to talk & think about work after office hours and weekends. What is there to worried about when the management like to change their decision so frequent.
Actually I am quite angry with mosquito. I already know that LBB will tender in Aug and WTF is looking for job and yet he wait until so late then inform me to take over their work. Wait until people last day liao (he approved LBB to clear leave) then ask me to take over. I learn from who ah? So I going to f**k care about it. Can do wat do lor, if anything cock up also not my problem.
So lets see how long the remain 3 of us can dong lah.....When will we break down...

Friday morning the transfer girl did not come so I called to asked. I wast told that mosquito had informed her she is not required anymore. Funny, nobody inform me leh. I was later informed that as she is holding an operator work permit, she cannot be transfer to do admin work. But in the first place I was told they are able to re-apply the work permit mah. So mosquito say he will hire a new purchaser. I also lost count of the change in plan since 1st Aug liao. So sick and so disappointed with the so called TOP MANAGEMENT. Such a simple decision need to meeting so many times & change so many times.
We go so many engineers with so few purchaser and that potato still insists that our overhead are high. The top management feels that engineers are value added and contribute to the company's profit however the admin & purchaser does not. Don't he know that we are the one who bring the COGS down and increase the profie margin?
Keep on pressing for our cost to go down but still think we don't contribute to the company profit.
Hire the so call R&D manager with those engineer doing R&D, how come I don't see them producing any new products for the company? Spent so much on R&D but with no result. The Not much sales from the sales personel also. No sales want us to cut cost....how to cut? No order who will entertain you? Waste my time only. That potato can't get sales than try to squeeze from the lowest income (Operators & Admin) so as to cut down the operation cost. If you know that the operators got not much thing to do then go get more sales lah. Instead the top management ask the operators to clear leave.
I think the management only think of how to protect their own backside. Never give a shit of the lower income employee.

My colleague tenders her resignation on 1st August. She is a senior purchaser. I really don’t know what the potato is thinking. At night when he is not f***ing, he think of all means to cut down cost at our SCM side. With 5 purchasers, we have to support 3 main project groups. Two of the groups support a few standard products and R&D, and 1 group to support contract manufacturing & R&D. He still thinks that our headcount is high. So he decided not to hire a new purchaser. Instead, he transfers a operator who can read little English to replace the senior purchaser by doing administration work.
The best part is the mosquito asks me whether I can accept their decision or not. Wah lao! Already decided liao still ask me for wat?? He only wants me to say yes I accept mah. I really don’t know what kind of management is this man. If I say no they still go ahead with their decision so ask for fun lah. Just to ‘show’ that the management ‘care’ about our opinion lah. What a waste of my time & my saliva.
Then the transfer girl come liao. Ask me to give her job. Give what job?? Never even confirm what her job scope is and want me to give her something to do. I don’t even know what I want to do ah. Give her do what? Really f***ing pissed off with this stupid company. The big fly here & there to get business. The potato & no hair down here stir storm & wave. Everybody got no mood to work. I still need to dong for another 3 months. Think I’ll get a new job after my bond.
Actually I was thinking I would like to suggest this to the potato. Get rid of yourself then get a operator to replace you (DGM) the saving is much more than replace a operator with a purchaser.
Now I want to confirm with mosquito on the job scope of the replacement can’t find him anywhere. Shit!

At the Car Park

After the dog walk while walking towards the car park, we can't find our car. Shit it was kana block by the van. Due to the NDW event, the park is full of people. Since most of them drive here therefore there are many illegal parking going on. But we never expect someone will park right infront of our car. Luckily my sis managed to squeezed the car out from the empty lot. at the right. Otherwise I will have to use my eat milk strength to move the van.

NDW 2007

Today is the National Dog Walk 2007 at West Coast Park. This is the first time we participate in such even. After some delay, the walk is supposed to starts at 4pm. The whole walk is around 1.5KM starts from West Coast Part car park 2 and end at West Cost Park Dog Run.

After some delay, the walk finally starts at 4:20pm and all the human & dogs starts to walk in a big crazy unorganised mass. We walk happily with all the others. Have a few stop to let the dogs have their drink. I specially made ice water for today cos its so hot. But thanks to the cooling breeze & shade from the trees, it does not seem hot at all. However after 1KM, my dogs' battery went flat so we need to carry them to the end point.

The whole walk is actually quite enjoyable & fun. The killing part is actually the carnival in the dog run area. We have to keep the dogs under shade & plenty of water to prevent them from sun stroke. Luckily we bought our UV protection umbrella with us. This is also my first visit to this dog run as I always go to Bishan Park dog run which is just opposite my block. It is very much bigger than the Bishan Park dog run. We did not stay for the lucky draw and the screening of " Shaggy Dog" and went home around 6 plus. All of us are dead tired.

Nike & Fila are both now sleeping soundly.

Kokon Tozai

I went with SokEe to shop at City Hall after our dinner 2 days ago. We came across this shop call Kokon Tozai. It means Past & Present and East & West in Japanese. They sell products such as bags, purses, pouches, hand phone/tissue /name card holder, shoe, blouse and skirts made by Japanese silk kimono fabric. They also sell crystal acrylic items such as earring, ring, bracelet, hair pin, etc. These items are created by sealing kimono fabric inside the crystal acrylic. I bought a hand phone pouch and a sling bag from my Hokkaido trip. They are also unique as they are also made from some kind of fabric. (Dun think is kimono fabric). Although the price is not cheap, I still buy a ring for myself and a hair pin (not sure whats the actual name) for my sister as her birthday present. The ring cost $19.90 & the hair pin cost $31.10 both after 20% discount. Since the fabric used are cut from various parts of the kimono, each item is different & unique.

Birthday party

There are 14 (Including me) August baby at today's birthday party. There are lots of things to eat. I guess this is the only birthday party that I've really eaten till full. Other than the chocolate muffin & chicken wings, the rest I can eat :) Although my Xiang Gong & Pui Tin did not join because they dun want to meet potato and Da Shen went back half way, I quite enjoy as the bitch, panda, meimei & cheo bu join in the party. Off course I still need to entertain that potato that join in without invitation lah. No choice lah. But I am good at Saka the bosses lah. Overall it is quite enjoyable. :)

Today somebody from our company paste an article near the photocopy machine. The title is “When good people leave”. Below is the highlighted paragraph which he/she wanted us to see.

Interesting, the first sentence hit straight at the jack pot. This is the current situation of our company. This week, our company got 3 person resign within 2 days. Everyday got happening. Than our Loctor no hair today very busy. Interviewing the resign guy one after another.

But all got nothing to do with me lah. Today I only interested in my birthday party at 4:30pm. Got free cake & snack. Every birthday boy/girl also got $20 NTUC voucher. Not bad hor. Anyway I every month also attend the birthday party even though I dun know the birthday boy/girl. I like to go there white eat white drink then pat pat my back side & go off. Dun bother to clean up. Very siock!

Friend back from Spain :)

Last night went dinner with my good friend SokEe. She came back from Spain and will be leaving this Saturday. It's been a year since I last met up with her. I did not get to meet up with her last year when she came back to give birth to her second son. I really miss her :) I also get to see her 31/2 years old daughter. She is very cute & pretty just like her mum. However she is also very playful & tomboy. She is like a Jack Russel terrier which cannot sit still for even 1 second. She likes pizza & junk food....whell most kids are like this. Guess I'll see them next year.

Dust & Noise!

Cannot tar han man. Noise caused by hammering, drilling, sawing & welding. Dust flying everywhere. Smell of dust, welding, cement, etc. Whole body feels very uncomfortable. The pain of the headache increase with the hours I stay in the office. OMG!!

Fake Donut out!

Good news! Donut our HR manager left our company last Friday. Make my day. Although she din step on my tail, I just dun like her. She got fake smile, fake laugh, fake voice, fake here, and fake there, everything fake. Most of my colleague can’t stand her fakeness. I think only one person will act to miss her…that ah bu nei nei lor. Both of them belong to the fake fake family.
Today one of the admin girls resigns. That potato does not intend to hire a replacement. Instead he intends to pass her workload on to the other admin girl. This is so bad. He always dun wants to hire a replacement once someone leaves….usually if that person belongs to admin side. He always thinks admin personnel are a waste of money as we do not generate income for the company. With less admin doing more work is his target. One fine day all of the admin girl will resign if this continues. They are very unhappy of this keep on increasing in work load. The best part is their pay is so miserable.
I think his main aim is to get rid of all admin staff then he will do all the admin work by himself to cut cost.
