An Inconvenient Truth

Recently there is this new film and book titled, An Inconvenient Truth by US Ex-Vice President Al Gore’s. But I dunno how recent lah since I just found out about it. It shows research from top scientists around the world, as well as photographs, charts, and other illustrations to document the reality of global warming. This web site also offer practical suggestions to help save our earth.

Here are some inconvenient facts:

1) The number of Category 4 and 5 hurricanes has almost doubled in the last 30 years -- Dunno one fine day Singapore will kana hit by one of them or not...
2) The Arctic ice cap has melted over 20 percent since 1979. -- If everything melt, my flat on the 28 story also will be under the sea....
3) More than a million species worldwide could be driven to extinction by 2050. -- Will that include human?
4) The flow of ice from glaciers in Greenland has more than doubled over the past decade.

Wow.....all these really no joke man. Hope I will not live to see all these.....
